Alpbach

With its unique character Alpbach is one of Austria's most picturesque villages, the skiing is excellent for beginners and intermediates with some challenging off-piste for advanced skiers. The small Hamlet of Inneralpbach is 3km from the resort the highlight of staying there is doorstep skiing. Innsbruck & Salzburg are not far away for excursions, Alpbach après ski is relaxed and informal with popular haunts such as the 'Jakober' and the Postalm.

Bad Hofgastien & Bad Gastein

At the heart of the Gastein Valley this area is one of the largest ski areas in Austria boasting over 200km of interlinked skiing which are easy accessible from both resorts. Bad Hofgastien is the quieter of the two resorts with cobbled streets and a relaxed après ski, Bad Gastien has a more lively après ski with bars and nightclubs open to the small hours. Skiing and boarding is superb-you need almost never to take the same piste twice.

Ellmau

Ellmau is one of the prettiest settings set in the Ski Welt Circus area with access to 8 resorts and over 250kms of piste.The relaxed village centre is dotted with shops, bars and cosy restaurants, après ski and evening entertainment are plentiful and varied with lively evenings or traditional Austrian events.Ellmau is a great base and will suit all range of skiers and boarders a great choice for everyone.

Fulpmes & Neustift

These pretty Tyrolean Villages are situated in the famous Stubai Valley one of the most scenic locations in the Tyrol. There are 4 main ski areas including the Stubai Glacier giving you guaranteed snow and a 130kms of piste much of it high altitude this a great area for all types of skiers and boarders. Both resorts offer good ski schools and childcare facilities making them an ideal choice for families as well.There is a variety of bars and nightlife in both resorts to suit all tastes.

Ischgl

High in the Panznaun valley in the heart of the Silvretta Mountains Ischgl presents some of the best skiing in Austria. The Silvretta lift pass gives access to Ischgl & Galtur and 330kms of piste you can also ski into Switzerland this area enjoys good snow record and some amazing off piste skiing and snowboarding.Ischgl has some of the best après ski in the alps with lively bars and even Pacha nightclub.

Kaprun is a popular resort with British customers because of the high altitude skiing and being a Glacier resort which guarantees snow, the lift pass also covers the resort of Zell am See which can be reached by regular ski bus. There is plenty of après ski to the lively bars and discos to the more relaxed rustic stubes Kaprun has lots to offer.

Niederau is a small picturesque Austrian village situated in the Wildshonau, one of the Tyrol's prettiest valleys.Oberau in a quiet hamlet just 3kms from Niederau.agood bus link operates between the neighboring villages, all of which are traditional and unspoiled. Both resorts are excellent for beginners, good for intermediates, but would be limited for the more experienced skier and snowboarder. Nightlife is fairly low key with a couple of nightclubs.

Solden

Glacier skiing is literally the tip of the iceberg with this resort. Sölden's ski area centres around three main peaks, each over 3,000m in height, giving you some fantastic snow conditions. Take on the challenge of the 'Big 3 Rally' - a 50km signed tour of the pistes that will take you to all three peaks. Sölden is also renowned as a snowboard mecca and has a very lively nightlife with numerous bars and clubs to keep you entertained into the early hours. St Anton

St. Anton, at the centre of the Arlberg Ski-Circus, is firmly established as one of Europe's top ski resorts, drawing keen skiers from all over the world. The ski area is simply vast, covering not only St. Anton's own mountains but also the neighbouring villages of St. Christoph, Lech and Zürs. St Johan

St. Johann is a small, picturesque town nestling between the towering Kitzbüheler Horn and the majestic Wilder Kaiser mountains. There's a vibrant international feel here, yet the resort retains all the charm of a traditional Tirolean village with its 'picture postcard' centre. With many north-facing slopes, the resort boasts a good snow record and is an excellent choice for groups of mixed ability skiers. The area pass ('Schneewinkel') opens up a wealth of other possibilities, encompassing the ski areas of 10 resorts, all linked by local bus services. The Steinplatte area even allows you to ski/board into Germany.

St Wolfgang

Right in the heart of the Austrian Lake District, St. Wolfgang provides a beautiful setting for a 'First Time’ or 'Winter Paradise' holiday. The Postalm alpine plateau, reached by a spectacular ski bus ride (45 mins) through gorges and around hair-pin bends, has an excellent snow record. Alternatively, ski buses also enable you to explore the Dachstein West ski area from Gosau (1 hr 30 mins). St.Wolfgang has lots to offer other than skiing (see our 'Winter Paradise’ package) making it an ideal choice for groups of skiers and non-skiers - and if you choose to travel on the 15/12 you can enjoy the delights of "Advent in St. Wolfgang" and nearby Salzburg's Christmas Market.

Zell am See

This smart little lakeside town is packed with charm, offering a good range of shops, bars and cafés and a traffic-free centre. During the height of the winter the lake freezes over enabling you to walk from one side to the other, while activities such as curing and skating are practised upon it. Zell am See is part of the Europa Sport Region which includes the neighbouring glacier resort of Kaprun. Easily accessible by local ski bus, the area provides a great range of pistes to suit all levels.

Zell Am Ziller

Zell am Ziller is a small, picturesque town in the heart of the Ziller Valley, approx. 10km from Mayrhofen. Though smaller and quieter than its more famous neighbour, you'll find everything you need from a selection of bars and restaurants to a range of activities including night skiing, curling, sleigh rides and swimming. From the piste map you'll see why it is a popular resort in its own right - 160km of piste to keep you entertained.
