Banff

The spectacular Banff area has been protected with National Park status and wild elk still wander into this genuine, unspoilt and friendly town. With a great array of restaurants, bars and shops Banff is a lively town with so many other thrilling winter activities on offer. The three ski areas of Norquay, Sunshine and Lake Louise are all connected by an excellent bus shuttle service (free with Tri-Area Lift Pass) and all abilities of skiers and riders will be impressed with the three unique ski areas. Plenty of great bars or try the torchlight decent at Lake Louise • Wild Bill's, Hoodoos' nightclub, Rose and Crown, Paddock Bar, Aurora.

Fernie

Fernie is a perfect ski area for all levels of skier or boarder and is renowned for its excellent natural snow conditions, record snow levels and 'steep and deep' terrain. The uncrowded slopes make it an ideal environment for families and first time skiers. An alpine resort at the base of the mountain provides a selection of bars, restaurants and shops, whilst the historic mining town of Fernie with its relaxed, laid back and friendly atmosphere is 5 kilometres from the ski area, connected by a regular bus service. Good choice of friendly lively bars The Pub, The El Dorado, The Grand Central and Griz Bar located in Fernie Alpine Resort.

Jasper

This friendly frontier town lies in the middle of spectacular scenery, where nature steals the show; elk, moose, deer and big horn sheep roam free, whilst a symphony of colours can be seen in the magnificent dawns and dusks.
Today, Jasper offers the same unpretentious charm as it did in the old days when frequented by fur traders.

Kicking Horse

Kicking Horse has 'The Champagne of Powders' with sparkling, light and dry snow and ski terrain which once was only accessible by helicopter. The 'Stairway to Heaven' lift gives access to even more wide alpine bowls, steep slopes, bump runs and glades. It truly doesn't get much better than this when you combine Kicking Horse with a stay in Banff or Lake Louise. Eagle’s Eye Mountaintop restaurant via gondola. In Golden try the Mad Trapper Pub, Packer's Place or the Moberley Pub.

Kimberley

Kimberley Alpine Resort offers an incredible variety of skiing terrain in a beautiful setting. Add no queues for the lifts, runs groomed to perfection, on slope accommodation and you have an ideal ski resort, which also offers very affordable prices. Kimberley boasts the longest illuminated run in Canada where the slopes are yours to play on until 9pm at night, Thursday to Saturday, night skiing is included in your lift pass. The resort is located on North Star Mountain, which has a picture perfect view of the Canadian Rockies across the valley.

Lake Louise

A handful of hotels and a few shops form the small village of Lake Louise. Situated in the majestic Banff National Park and surrounded by a panorama of breathtaking peaks, Lake Louise offers a wealth of activities for skiers and non-skiers alike. Your Tri Area lift pass covers the three exciting areas of Lake Louise; Sunshine Village (35 mins by bus) and Norquay (40 mins by bus). Lake Louise’s own ski area is the largest in the Canadian Rockies with over 110 runs, some wonderful tree lined as well as acres of open bowls. The three terrain parks are varied and cater for all levels of riders and skiers. A ski bus service connects the resort to the ski area. Ski buses to Sunshine Village and Mount Norquay are included in the ‘Tri Area Pass.

Panorama

This friendly mountain village framed by the Canadian Rockies offers breathtaking scenery and boasts a World Class mountain with a 4000 feet vertical rise of exciting skiing which takes you right back to your door. Panorama offers superb skiing and riding for all abilities, an excellent ski school as well as long smooth corduroy cruisers to steep bowls, with the majority offering fantastic views of the spectacular British Columbia Rockies. For the more adventurous skier or boarder the resorts heli-ski operation will give you access to more incredible terrain and powder. The purpose-built village offers a modest variety of pubs and restaurants, sports shop, a grocery store and the town of Invermere is half an hour’s bus drive away.

Tremblant
