Aspen

Beaver Creek

The heart of the resort, Beaver Creek Village is full of quaint shops, art galleries, bars and restaurants all conveniently linked by heated walkways and escalators.

Bachelor Gulch Village:
Part of the unique Village-to-Village™ skiing experience and home to The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch and a handful of condominiums and private homes available for vacation rental. A perfect place to stay if you wish to have slopeside access in the middle of Beaver Creek Mountain and wish to be near to the action of Beaver Creek village but not be in the middle of it!

Arrowhead Village:
Arrowhead is the westernmost gateway to Beaver Creek on the Village-to-Village ski experience and is home to Falling Creek Restaurant, Broken Arrow Restaurant and many private homes and condominiums available for vacation rentals. Arrowhead provides easy access to the western slopes of Beaver Creek, is on the 'dial-a-ride' shuttle service so guests can access Beaver Creek Village (7 minutes) and is also a nearby the quaint town of Edwards (4 minutes' drive).

Big Sky

Framed by majestic Lone Mountain, Big Sky's winter season offers superb downhill and cross-country skiing, and it boasts 4,350 vertical feet, 150+ trails and 18 lifts.
Downhill skiing here is spread over three mountains (Lone Mountain, Andesite Mountain and Flat Iron Mountain) and features state of the art lifts, short or no lift lines and a superb international ski school. In 1995, Big Sky added the Lone Peak Tram transporting the courageous to the top of 11,166-foot high Lone Mountain. This 15-person Dopplemayr tram accesses extreme, expert and advanced terrain.

This south facing skiing area has been described as offering expert skiers European-like high, open face skiing, with chutes and couloirs and extreme pitches of more than 50 degrees. With more than 315 hotel rooms, hundreds of condominium units (most slopeside), more than 20 restaurants, shopping, nightlife, swimming pools, health spa, outdoor Jacuzzis, lots of outdoor activities and the Yellowstone Conference Centre; Big Sky caters to all ages and all tastes.

Breckenridge

Breckenridge, known for snow, service and sunshine is the No 1. USA resort for British skiers. Dating back 130 years, Breckenridge has maintained its "Old West" charm of the gold mining era, combining character, a fun and friendly atmosphere and an unbelievable ski area. For intermediates not interested in tackling the steep stuff, the slopes lack character as well as extent.At 2925m/9,600ft the village is one of the highest you will encounter. At this extreme altitude there is a real risk of sickness for visitors coming straight from lower altitudes.There is the option to ski another 4 top resorts on the "Colorado Ticket" lift pass. Breckenridge is a great choice for making a perfect Colorado ski holiday.

Copper Mountain

A true local's favourite, Copper Mountain has so much to offer with a fantastic ski area featuring bumps, wide open bowls, board parks, pipes and long rolling cruises too. The village has all of the lodging, lively bars, restaurants and shops conveniently located just steps away from the slopes. Crested Butte

Slightly off the beaten track, visitors can expect a warm welcome and a unique skiing experience in this small corner of Colorado. Featuring 1,120 acres of ski area, 120 uncrowded ski trails and the most lift-serviced extreme terrain in North America, this is an amazing resort. Cradled by a half circle of magnificent peaks, Crested Butte (pronounced 'beaut') is a real 'Old West' village, with plenty of genuine character. Just 3 miles away is the attractive Slopeside Ski village, both with their own lively après ski scene and united by a free shuttle system. Jackson Hole

Set amongst the spectacular and world famous Teton Mountain Range, Jackson Hole can only be described as a ski mecca! Keystone

The friendly resort of Keystone has three mountains to explore and has built a reputation on the quality of its piste grooming and snowmaking. Beginners and intermediates are well served here and the more advanced have 'The Outback' to play on. Even sunset is no obstacle as there are 17 floodlit trails, with a lift service running until 8pm. Although Keystone is a family-friendly resort, the array of evening activities, from ice skating to tubing as well as the many bars and restaurants are sure to keep people of all age’s entertained.Great choice of bars and places like the Kickapoo Tavern are great for older children.

Killington

Park City

Host to the 2002 Winter Olympics and 'The Greatest Snow on Earth' are the 7 world class ski areas of Utah. Park City dates back to the great silver mining boom of the 1870s and is a tremendously fun place to stay with a thriving nightlife. Do not believe rumors about not being able to get a drink as this is old news. Park City is located next to luxurious Deer Valley and The Canyons ski areas and all three ski areas are on the one lift pass and connected by a free and regular bus shuttle. Steamboat

Home to more Winter Olympians than any other resort in North America, Steamboat is a fantastic resort for skiers of all levels. There are two main areas, the original downtown area, dating back to the end of the last century, with its own authentic cowboy atmosphere and the more modern village area just at the foot of the ski lifts. Both areas have a wide choice of bars, shops and restaurants and are only 8 minutes' shuttle ride apart. With the infamous 'champagne powder' snow and wild west atmosphere, no wonder it is known as 'Ski Town USA!'.Superb choice - from the romantic to the lively.

Stowe

Offering a world of winter experiences, no other ski resort captures the spirit of a classic New England winter quite like Stowe. If you are looking for character and charm then this picturesque town with its 200-year history, combined with the ski area's state of the art facilities should be your choice. Stowe has an atmosphere which pulls skiers back time and time again to ski on Spruce Peak and Vermont's highest mountain, Mount Mansfield. The slopes are accessed from the town by a short ride on the free 'town trolly' and now Spruce Creek and Mt Mansfield are connected by a fantastic transfer gondola thus making it more effortless to switch between the two Stowe base areas. Sunday River

Sunday River is Maine's premier ski resort. With skiing on 8 inter-connected peaks, 128 trails and a skiing area 3 miles wide, as well as a long ski season, it is proving a popular destination with British visitors. Skiers of all abilities will enjoy this large ski area - all the more so as it seldom sees crowds. The ski resort is situated in the Mahoosuc Mountains just a 10 minute drive from the pretty New England town of Bethel. Bumps Pub with live rock 'n roll bands appearing weekly throughout the season. Vail

Vail is one of the world's top ski resorts with superb accommodation and an attractive alpine style village centre with a fabulous après ski atmosphere. It is also the largest ski area in America, stretching 7 miles from east to west and caters for everyone with smooth groomed runs through to challenging cornices and off piste back bowls.
